I’ll try to squeeze in a last post for 2008. 
This is what I gave my DD’s kindergarten teacher for Christmas. I simplified the Stationery Box I’ve made before so there’s just a section for the notecards and a section for matching envelopes.

Ink: Real Red & Old Olive Markers
Accessories: 1/4″ & 5/8″ Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Tag Punch, Sm Tag Punch
Then I made this Bag-A-Lope to match! She loved it.

Christmas Tag *Punch* Class

These are made only with Stampin’ Up! *punches*! (okay, and a few snips with scissors)
Use these tags to decorate holiday packages, as the focal point on cards, or as accents on scrapbook pages! My family wants me to make an extra set to use as ornaments on our Christmas tree!
I’m holding a class Saturday, December 13th @ 2PM so you can make these yourself! Make as many tags as you can in two hours!

Autumn Vine Projects

I enjoyed lots of family, food & fun over the week.
Here are two projects I made recently using the beautiful Autumn Vine DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog. The Holiday Mini is good through Jan 18th, so there’s still plenty of time to get some of this paper.
The first project was an invite to a dinner. I had to make a lot of them, so I kept it simple, but still elegant. I also maximized my use of the the DSP by using (3) 2″x1″ strips on each card. That gave the splash of color I wanted, but didn’t use much paper at all!
The gold embossing is the “wow” on this project. I received a lot of compliments on the invites. Non-stampers especially are impressed with the embossing technique. I used my favorite stamp set Baroque Motifs for the swirl and Sincere Salutations for the saying.
The other project is a CD sleeve. I made a photo CD for my daugher’s teacher (with photos of their field trip to the pumpkin patch) but I didn’t have a sleeve to put it in. So I made my own! It was really easy!
