This card I made for my brother Joe’s birthday last month. I think it looked better in real life. I used the Heated Pearls technique for the background.
Stamps: In the Wild (retiring June 30th- that makes me so sad!)
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Glossy White, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust
Accessories: Pearl Ex Powders, Gold Cord

We didn’t have time to buy him a gift, and we know how much kids love getting money. So, I made a card pocket card to hold the cash. I love using Simply Scrappin’ Kits to put together cards. I also stamped the cake from the matching stamp set, Eat cake, on the envelope in the coordinating inks (but didn’t take a photo of that).
Stamps: Eat Cake (for the happy birthday saying), Dotted background, Brushstroke Numbers (retiring this June!)
Paper: Party Pieces Simply Scrappin’ Kit
Accessories: Turquoise & White Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Key Tag Punch
